Steve Johnson, CPA

Steve has been with WJH (and
its predecessor Hart-Wood) for over 20 years. He was a partner in
Hart-Wood which became WJH in 1999. Steve earned a BBA from the
University of Texas in 1981 and a Masters in Taxation from the University
of Texas in 1983. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member
of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the
Texas Society of Certified Public Accounts.
Steve was born in Burnet, Texas. His parents and grandparents are
native Austinites and he has lived in Austin since 1969. His wife,
Teri, is a realtor. They have two children - Alexandria (Alex) and
Harrison. In his spare time Steve hunts and fishes. He also spends
considerable time being properly respectful and subservient to Molly
and Megan, two miniature dachshunds.
At Wood, Johnson, Heath Steve’s work includes tax preparation, planning,
and dispute resolution. His extensive knowledge and experience provides
WJH clients with the help they need in navigating the complexities
of the tax laws. Steve also provides business consulting services.
