Add a WJH Icon to Your Desktop
A WJH shortcut that takes you
directly to the WJH web site or to the WJH-AO/Intacct login
screen can be added to your computer screen (desktop) by
following the simple instructions below.
(These instructions are for
a Windows machine running Internet Explorer.)
Step 1 - Select the icon
image you
want to install from the following table.

Step 2 - Copy the icon image to your computer.

Place the mouse cursor on the desired image

Click the right mouse button to bring up a menu

Click "Save Picture As..." menu choice

Choose a place to save the icon image. (It can be a
temporary folder since it can be deleted later.)

Save the icon image.

Rename the image so that the extension (the three characters
after the period) is "ico".
Step 3 - Return to the table above to select the "Shortcut
Address" next to the icon you previously chose. Copy the
address by highlighting the entire address and then pressing the
Ctrl-C keys (or by using Edit/Copy from the browser window
menu).
Step 4 - Close this window and all other windows so that only
your computer desktop is showing.
Step 5. Point your mouse cursor to a blank spot on the screen
and click the right mouse button.
Step 6 - On the menu that appears, select New/Shortcut.
Step 7 - A Create Shortcut window should appear. Click the
mouse with the cursor in the box titled "Type the Location of
the Item:". Press the Ctrl-V keys to paste the previously
copied address into this box and then click Next.
Step 8 - In the next window, type in the name you want to appear
below the icon image - for example, "WJH Accounting On line" or
perhaps, "Intacct Login".
Step 9 - A new shortcut with a default image and the title
you typed should appear on your desktop. Point the mouse
cursor at this new shortcut and click the right button.
Step 10 - Click "Properties" on the menu that appears.
Step 11 - In the New Internet Shortcut Properties window, click
the "Change Icon" button and in the next window click "Browse".
Step 12 - Go to the folder where you saved the icon image and
select the ico file.
Step 13 - Click OK in the Internet Shortcut Properties window.
Step 14 - Arrange the new shortcut on your desktop as you
prefer.
You can repeat these steps if you want to add another shortcut.
